Information Services Specialist (ISS) Bernie Protacio (far left) of the Dumalag FITS Center directs some 30 farmers from San Miguel, Dumalag, Capiz led by Barangay Captain Mary Alice Feo during their Agro-Ecosystem Analysis (AESA) as part of their Farmers Field School (FFS). In AESA, farmers are taught how to boost their rice yield through practical technologies. To properly monitor their crops, they count the number of panicles per meter square.
